Position Summary:
Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms and stress tests according to established protocols. May require commitment to on call assignment.
Performs electrocardiograms according to established policies and procedures. Provides data for diagnosis of heart ailments. Edits and forwards final test results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires a high school diploma and is a graduate of an accredited EKG program. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
