Ehs Manager - Up To $120K

EHS Manager | DIRECT HIRE | up to $120K | Greater Fort Wayne Area

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a manufacturing company in the greater Fort Wayne, IN area that is looking to hire on an EHS Manager. This individual will be the only person over E, H, and S for the plant, so it's crucial that this person have knowledge in all three areas. Please read below for more details.

DIRECT HIRE

SALARY: up to $120,000

BENEFITS: 4 weeks of PTO + 1 week between Christmas & NYE, 50% of the first 5% 401K match + an additional 2% for new hires, medical, dental, vision, etc.

LOCATION: South of Fort Wayne, IN

INDUSTRY: manufacturing, automotive

Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject-matter expert as it relates to EH&S culture, safety, and awareness for the facility.
• Build out policies, procedures, and programs for all realms of EH&S.
• Manage compliance with the state of Indiana and regulations as they relate to storm water, hazardous waste, air permitting, etc.
• Coordinate and conduct EH&S training for hourly and salary personnel.
• Have a firm understanding of OSHA and OSHA auditing processes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience within the manufacturing industry.
• 3+ years within an EHS, Safety, or Environmental Manager position.
• Experience within an automotive/heavy industrial environment is strongly preferred.
