CIBC National Trust Company seeks an Equity Research Analyst to conduct Equity Research and developing valuation models on public and private investment opportunities. Compile, analyze, and identify data regarding potential position change within strategic guidelines. Maintain detailed portfolio metrics, portfolio commentary, and marketing materials. Conduct due diligence and develop valuation models and scenario analysis on public and private investment opportunities. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field, and 2 years of experience developing financial models and forecasts for equity investment opportunities. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience analyzing corporate documents to include 10-Ks and debt offerings; 2 years of experience conducting market research in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector; 2 years of experience conducting financial analyses on listed equities, earning adjustments, and cashflow stability; and 1 year of experience evaluating private company valuations and conducting due diligence on private investment opportunities.
