We are seeking an EHS professional with experience in an industrial manufacturing environment to drive the behavioral health and safety culture of a mature and vertically integrated operation. From diecasting to machining to electronic assembly and test, we do a little bit of everything. In this role:
- Develop and/or improve environmental health and safety processes necessary to sustain and improve the safety culture
- Be accountable to process performance and adherence while coaching and mentoring every associate on taking personal responsibility for their and their associates health and safety
- Be a leader through followership and collaboration at all levels of the organization and regardless of skill or background
- Be a member of the operations leadership team; enable each function to achieve their goals through EHS
- Be accountable to all required federal, state and local EHS guidelines
On your first day, we’ll expect that you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Technical problem-solving capabilities; ability to define a problem, drive to root cause, and identify and implement appropriate countermeasures
- Formal training and experience in developing and implementing behavioral safety processes and procedures, and manufacturing-specific processes (examples: job safety analysis, lockout-tagout, ergonomic process development)
- Clear knowledge and experience to maintain compliance of all required federal, state and local EHS guidelines
- Demonstrated leadership experience including coaching, mentoring and talent development.
