JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Responsibilities
As an EHS Intern for Arconic in Bloomsburg you will be a part of a large EHS Team helping support one of Arconic's largest aluminum extrusion facilities. Working closely with the location EHS team, the EHS Intern will help support the ergonomics and contractor safety programs, employee training, incident investigations and fatality prevention initiatives.
- Assist member of the Bloomsburg EHS Staff with the routine EHS Management functions
- Conduct a variety of assessments and recommend corrective actions
- Assist with monthly employee safety training and new hire orientation
- Participate in weekly safety walks in various departments as part of a team
- Investigate EHS related incidents
Basic Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in an accredited institution and working toward your bachelor's degree
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
