Job Description
The Audiologist is responsible for using technology to identify and treat hearing, balance, tinnitus, and other auditory disorders. Including Diagnostic hearing evaluations for adults and children, Otoscopy, Air, bone and speech audiometry, identify hearing loss by otitis, media, normal aging process and hereditary factors. ABR testing Vestibule Evaluations and Cerumen Management a plus.
Licensure: Unrestricted license to practice Audiology in the State of Hawaii
Certificate of clinical competence in Audiology preferred.
Clinic Hours: M-F 8:00-4:30, off holidays
Location: Audiology Clinic is located w/in outpatient rehab department at Hilo Medical Center
Duration: 26 weeks preferred. Will consider shorter contract.
