EEG TECH PRN

Immediate openings for a fast-growing Diagnostic Testing Company. Competitive pay and flexible hours.

We are looking for contract registered and non-registered EEG Technologists.

Duties: This position will give our schedulers your availability as far out as you can, two weeks at a time would be preferable. The EEG Technologist performs in-home diagnostic testing on patients. The Technologist measures by means of international 10/20 system for EEG studies, to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of neurological disorders.

Job Responsibilities:

Complies with HIPPA regulations with regards to patient confidentiality.

Must live in Grand Junction as this area will be the primary territory but there may be patients outside of this footprint. This position drives to wherever the patients are. You need to have a reliable vehicle.

Professionally communicates with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Follows the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Operates and manages equipment, takes detailed accurate patient history on patients.

Job Requirements:

Techs that are registered (R.EEGT) through ABRET and an active member go to the front of the line.

CPR certified, if not we will train.

Must possess a valid driver’s license, automobile and proof of insurance. One year of experience in the field is preferred.

Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to pull, push and carry up to 50lbs.

Must have strong communication skills, timely responses to requests from management, efficient effective outside the box suggestions for improvements.

Pay:

$200 per hook up
$100 per disconnect
$25 if the patient cancels on you
$50 additional if the patient lives 50 miles outside of your residence
