Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare center that have autism.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage children during playtime, mealtime, and outdoor activities
-Collaborate with behavior analyst and speech therapists
- Target developmental needs of each child and provide individualized support
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
As a Teacher and behavior support, you will play a crucial role in the welfare and education of young children with Autism. We have all teachers behavior trained to support children with Autism in our center. You will work directly with learners in our center.
