A Day in the Life
Are you ready to jump in!? You’ll be joining some pretty awesome, dedicated and compassionate Team Members who carry out our mission on a daily basis. You’ll be the role model, mentor and life experience extraordinaire to our youth, who are residing with us on a temporary basis. Assisting with all recreational activities and Educational Programming, you'll be leading individual and group activities centered around sports, team building, life skill development, cooking, and strength training. If you love to be active, this is the position for you!
The Ideal Candidate
You have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and, preferably, prior experience working with a school-aged population. What sets you apart from other candidates is experience in physical education, recreation, summer camps, or a degree in a related field. You are knowledgeable in delivering trauma-informed care to others (or are ready and willing to learn!). You're able to communicate effectively by balancing listening and speaking, writing clearly, and influencing others. You're able to demonstrate excellent teamwork skills by being helpful, accountable, respectful and approachable. You seek out learning opportunities and are hungry for more. You’re able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can easily reprioritize as needs arise.
The ideal candidates will be available for a flexible 2nd shift, generally until 7:00 or 8:00 pm, with some weekend hours every 2 - 3 weeks.

Bethany's mission is to provide a safe place of nurture, protection, and supportive care to aid our residents in their self-understanding, growth, and healing toward a brighter, healthier future.
