Job Title: Education Coordinator Department: Education & Community Engagement (ECE)
Reports To: Director of ECE FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Location: Santa Rosa, CA Hourly: $21/15-hours per week

Snapshot of the Role
In this key role, you will support the ECE team with tasks and assignments related to our education and community engagement programs. You will have considerable public contact that reflects the highest level of customer service. You diligently attend to details while you coordinate multiple tasks in collaboration with others.

Some of the duties and responsibilities you are entrusted with:
- Assisting with translation of materials from English into Spanish
- Serving as a Spanish language interpreter for ECE programming (ex: summer camp enrollment, parent meetings, event vendors, etc.)
- Managing office supply orders and inventory
- Implementing inventory management system for Music for Schools instrument lending library
- Data entry and management of program surveys and evaluations, cataloguing notes from teachers and students, and digitizing archival materials
- Assisting with outside communications including social media and newsletter copy compilation
- Assisting with tracking and assessing data to align with programmatic and development needs
- Invoice and payment tracking
- Collaborating with ECE team on programs including Posada Navideña and Fiesta de Independencia
- Coordinating and supporting special projects as needed
What Matters Most in this Role:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English)
- Excellent skills in planning, organization, research, and time management
- Basic comprehension of non-profit budgets/budget process
- Ability to represent the Center and the goals of LBC ECE department through participation in community events and projects as assigned
- Microsoft suite and other programs as needed (Tessitura experience a plus, but not required)
- Excellent customer experience skills
- Knowledge of the performing and visual arts as they relate to education, community involvement and audience engagement
