The Education Account Executive will maintain and manage assigned accounts and grow the assigned territory. They will ensure a positive customer experience and relationship with Uniti Fiber.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing Government and Education accounts through regular customer contact. Identify, qualify and offer services, upgrades, and renewals for new and existing accounts.
- Confirm requirements and expectations and recommend pricing for typical solutions.
- Create formal quotes, respond to RFPs and close sales with fully executed contracts.
- Act as a liaison between customer and internal departments to confirm and communicate any outstanding order details and update internal systems in compliance with company requirements.
- Maintain information related to accounts, opportunities, and contacts; provide updates regarding locations and demarcations for assigned accounts.
- Review existing customer records to ensure integrity of service records, invoicing, troubles, etc.
- Customer site visits and meetings (some overnight travel required).

Education and/or Experience:
- Proven competencies of sales, account management, and customer service
- Salesforce CRM experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to finish and bring closure to big and small projects
- Familiarity with business fundamentals and processes
- Familiarity with financial concepts and models
- Previous responsibilities related to sales, service, or support, preferably with Government and/or E-Rate customers
- Extensive telecommunications industry knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers with varying levels of knowledge
- Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
