What will you be doing and learning?
Macmillan Learning is seeking an Editorial Intern for the STEM - Life Science Editorial team. We are developing online media and assessment to support instructors and students using our higher education Life Science products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and review online media and assessment based on the principles of sound pedagogy and accessibility.
- Assemble Life Science assessment and media assets.
Skills / Knowledge:
- You must be enrolled in a degreed program (i.e. Bachelor’s, Master’s, etc)
- Preferred Major, but not required: Bio;ogy, Biochemistry, Genetics or related field
- We will accept applicants graduating from their degree in Spring 2023.
- Passion for education/learning, especially in Life Science
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to set priorities, multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google G Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
