Essential Responsibilities:
The GE Renewable Energy EEDP will prepare you for an exciting career tackling one of the world's toughest challenges - clean and affordable energy. As a Renewable Energy EEDP, you will:
- Work on 4 rotations over 2 years in a variety of departments
- Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
- Participate in leadership development training with GE program members from other business.
- Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
The ability to rotate cross teams gives Edisons the opportunity to select different areas including product design, systems, component design (such as towers, machine head, power conversion), controls and operability, advanced technology, testing, aerodynamics, performance, quality, services and more.
Required Qualifications:
- All CVs must be submitted in English
- Fluent in English. Other language skills a plus.
- Bachelor's degree completed+ Master's Degree in Engineering at least FINISHED before 30th June 2024. Equivalent knowledge or Experience could be also considered (marks will be requested in the interviews).
- Strong dedication to a career in technology and a REAL passion for ENGINEERING.
- Demonstrated an analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
- Demonstrated and enthusiastic leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Strong team and interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment.
- Mobility in Europe.

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation
requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
Desired Characteristics:
- Degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related majors will be considered.
- Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering.
- High marks will be well considered in the selection.
Additional Note:
- The vacancy will be open from January 18th 2024, to February 18th, 2024.
- Starting date in GE Offices in BARCELONA will be 1st of July 2024.
