We are currently recruiting for an EDI Manager to oversee the EDI team, and work with our customers to ensure complete satisfaction with our products and service. The EDI Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of EDI related data exchanges including EDI map creations, changes and partner setup for Chapin International, Inc. The EDI Manager works closely with the Order Center and IT Departments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification, commitment and execution of EDI projects.
• Managing daily EDI functionality including document mapping, transaction flow and trading partner communications.
• Discover opportunities to improve EDI processing capability and efficiency.
• Import/Export, research and interpret ANSI X12 files coming from various sources.
• Communicate with partners to get information on EDI status such as rejections, denials and eligibility requirements.
• EDI Setup with established/new customers.
• Create/Maintain Data reports for EDI Order Management.
• Interacts with customers and vendors and answers their questions in a friendly, timely and quality manner, as needed.
• Participates in teams that are working to improve existing systems and other company wide projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including current or previous experience with EDI and daily use of ANSI X12 EDI Transactions, billing or claim processing experience.
• Experience with Basic retail EDI Transactions such as 850(PO), 855(Ack), 860 (Change), 856 (ASN), 810 (Invoice) preferred.

• Prior experience in 1 or more of the following technologies is preferred:
• IBM/SterlingB2B Integrator
• IBM / Sterling File Gateway/Connect: Direct
• Gentran Server-All platforms including Windows / UNIX / iSeries
• Open Text/BizManager/BizLink/TrustedLink
• SPS Commerce
• TrueCommerce

• Knowledge related to Infor CloudSuite/Syteline ERP system is a bonus.
• Knowledge of database design for MS SQL Server and scripting is a plus.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytic skills when problem solving.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and ability to learn department and job specific software systems.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to switch priorities in a positive and effective manner when directed by the Company leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
