NMC is currently recruiting for a ED Technician in the ED.This position is a full-time (72 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 7p-7:30a and every other weekend.
Certifications: BLS required.

- JOB SUMMARY:
- The Emergency Department Technician plans and implements assigned patient care in collaboration with the Nursing staff in the department. The ED Technicians provides direct patient care for patients of all age groups and under a wide variety of circumstances, documents patient information.
- PREREQUISITES
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Must have a current VT LNA or LPN license or EMT Certification.
Other: The Emergency Department/Intermediate Care Technician must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. Identifies each patient's age specific needs and provide the care needed by the pediatric, adolescent, and/or geriatric patient group.
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Must have a current VT LNA or LPN license or EMT Certification.
