Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry and Listing Building Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target, among others. The primary responsibility of this role will be to efficiently enter and manage data while building Product Listings across various online platforms. Additionally, this role will involve managing offshore virtual assistants to ensure smooth operations and task completion.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and efficient product data entry tasks using Excel to manage product information, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Create and optimize Product Listings on various online marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target, etc., ensuring adherence to platform guidelines and best practices.
- Research and gather product data from multiple sources to ensure completeness and accuracy in listings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless integration of product data and listings.
- Monitor and update Product Listings regularly to reflect changes in pricing, availability, and promotions.
- Conduct quality checks on listings to ensure consistency and compliance with branding and style guidelines.
- Utilize analytical tools and reports to track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement in listing optimization.
- Provide guidance and instructions to offshore virtual assistants, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring timely completion of assignments.
- Train virtual assistants on data entry processes, marketplace guidelines, and listing optimization techniques.
- Maintain communication channels with offshore virtual assistants to address questions, provide feedback, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with offshore teams to streamline workflows and optimize productivity.
- Stay updated on marketplace trends, policies, and algorithms to adapt strategies accordingly and maximize visibility and sales.
- Provide support for other data-related tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry and listing building, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, and data manipulation techniques.
- Familiarity with online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target, etc., and understanding of their listing requirements and policies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to maintain data integrity.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience managing offshore virtual assistants is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
- Experience with product data management systems or listing tools is a plus.
