The Ecommerce Marketing Director will have a leadership role in the organization, responsible for driving our digital business performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing ecommerce businesses and experience combining digital marketing (acquisition/engagement), ecommerce management, customer insights, loyalty and lifecycle marketing to drive results. They need to be a leader who can inspire, influence and work collaboratively across many teams - in a fast paced, growth-oriented, global environment. Job Responsibilities:
    • Build and manage the annual plan / strategy for supporting our company goals through all ecommerce channels (Web, App, Loyalty, 3rd Party, etc.)
    • Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy for Insomnia Cookies - inclusive of all points in the customer journey 
    • Working with digital product team to manage performance of our digital products, with a focus on conversion funnel optimization and user experience 
    • Set measurable goals for all digital campaigns/channels; optimize, measure, and provide reporting to the organization on effectiveness
    • Build clear customer profiles/segments and develop engagement strategies to strengthen the Insomniac community and drive customer lifetime value 
    • Work in collaboration with brand, creative and digital product teams on customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies
    • Oversee Insomnia loyalty and paid membership (CookieMagic) programs, work with marketing team to connect loyalty/membership into the marketing calendar to drive success 
    • Manage all owned engagement marketing channels: customer email (including automations), SMS, app/push, etc. to drive engagement and awareness of specific products, deals and other priorities
    • Define priorities for marketing/promotions on owned digital channels, work with brand and digital teams to identify ways to optimize owned channels to improve effectiveness and achieve results
    • Ownership of digital marketing vendor relationships (marketing automation/email, loyalty, paid agencies, sweepstakes, etc.) 
    • Work with external media agency to manage paid digital media, search, programmatic, affiliate, video and other digital advertising
    • Define social marketing/investment strategy, work with brand/creative teams to set priorities for creative/content development to maximize effectiveness of social channels 
    • Continually build knowledge base in digital marketing and serve as the subject matter expert for the organization  
    • Act as a leader in the organization, working with various teams to drive the digital/marketing agenda to meet all goals
    • Drive experimentation and innovation, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement through a "dream big" mentality
    • Lead a team including lifecycle/loyalty manager, content manager, build plan to grow team to appropriately support our business 
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 10+ years leadership experience in ecommerce / digital marketing with a proven track record of growing digital business, and audiences   
    • Must have a strong background in digital marketing technology/trends, should act as a thought leader internally and externally  
    • Proven track record of creating measurable brand awareness and value creation through digital media channels
    • Experience with owning performance of digital channel
    • Paid budget management and understanding of how to concurrently drive sales and profits
    • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams and effectively managing martech partners and agencies 
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, digital marketing, business/analytics or other relevant area required
    • Hands-on experience with either a food/qsr brand or start up brand 
    • A love of Insomnia Cookies, a sweet tooth, and a sense of humor
    • Exceptional analytical, written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Strong professional presence and the ability to effectively work with executive leadership
    • Able to work collaborate and work across multiple functions our support center and field
    • Clear understanding of modern media, technology and communications best practices
