Job description

The Ecommerce Digital Advertising Strategist will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the Digital Advertising strategy across all advertising channels, including Google Ads, Wayfair Ads, and Amazon Ads, and will be tasked with managing an external advertising agency to execute effective PPC campaigns on Amazon Advertising. This role will drive strategy for Digital Advertising efforts, while closely monitoring advertising performance, ensuring that KPI goals for ACoS, TACoS, Sales, and Spend are met, and provide regular reporting and analysis on advertising efforts and efficiencies. The Ecommerce Digital Advertising Strategist will also collaborate with the external agency to develop and implement strategies for optimizing campaign performance and maximizing ROI.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute advertising strategy for Amazon, Google, and Wayfair Ads.
• Manage an external advertising agency to create and execute effective strategic plans for launching and optimizing Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads.
• Monitor and manage the agency's performance to ensure KPI goals for ACoS, TACoS, Sales, and Spend are met or exceeded.
• Oversee and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on the agency's efforts and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with product to plan and maintain Amazon promotional calendar.
• Perform ad hoc keyword research and competitor research using Helium10, Jungle Scout, and Brand Analytics tools to support the agency's campaign strategies.
• Collaborate with the agency to develop PPC budgets across all Amazon sales channels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build advertising plans that support pressing business goals.
• Analyze data to provide quantitative insights and action plans.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve them.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the advertising agency, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals and expectations.
Qualifications:
• 4-year degree required (preferably in marketing, business, or a similar analytical field).
• Proven experience in Amazon Advertising management.
• Prefer experience in Google, Wayfair, Walmart, Target, Lowe's, and/or Home Depot Advertising.
• Familiarity with automated bidding and machine-learning based advertising platforms.
• Knowledgeable on Amazon sales funnel and key PPC metrics, such as sessions, CTR, and conversions.
• Google Ads Certification.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with research tools, such as Helium10, Jungle Scout, and Brand Analytics.
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external agencies.
• Commitment to staying informed about industry trends, updates, and new features.
