Dawn’s Co-Op Program offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of the Global Bakery Industry. With over 100 years of expertise, Dawn provides a platform for interns to experience our vibrant company culture, embrace our core values, and gain valuable knowledge for their future careers We built our Digital innovation Hub in downtown Boston and staffed the start-up with top talent from leading Boston eCommerce firms like BJs, Keurig, Sapient, Staples, Vistaprint and Wayfair. The Boston office has a broad mandate to drive the company’s digital capabilities and reports to our Boston-based Chief Digital Officer. This is a start-up opportunity to build digital capabilities from the ground up using a composable architecture with the latest technologies across the digital ecosystem.

Dawn is looking to add an eCommerce Associate Co-Op to our team for a 6-month rotation from July to December 2024 to work hands-on with our eCommerce platform in a variety of roles and responsibilities. This role would be well suited to students following a course of study in Digital Marketing, UX Design, or Data Science. This role reports to our Boston-based, Site Manager and you will be mentored by a cross-functional group of Managers and SMEs and present your findings to the broader eCommerce team including Dawn’s Chief Digital Officer. This position will also offer you the unique opportunity to own and present a complete end-to-end project utilizing all the skills you will learn during your Co-Op.

This is a full-time position in Boston, MA. Candidates must be located in or around the Boston, MA area to be considered for this Co-Op. The work environment for the role is Hybrid (1-2 Days in office per week and the days not in office working remotely).

What Does It Take to be an eCommerce Associate Co-Op at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Co-Op Program.

• Working towards BS in Business, Digital Marketing, UX Design, or Data Science.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Strong communication skills, experience interfacing with customer care, sales and marketing groups.
• Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail
• Customer service oriented internally and externally.

Preferred Skills:

• Productivity Tools: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
• Product Management: Confluence, Jira or Asana
• Data: Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or SAP BI

What You'll Do as an eCommerce Associate Co-Op

• Assist with all aspects of product presentation planning to drive conversion.
• Support Category Managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of product data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute merchandising projects and initiatives.
• Work closely with our merchandising, product, and data teams to understand and prioritize product presentation and organizational KPIs.
• Help strategize and execute presentation and design experiments to improve overall customer experience.

Potential Projects

• Personalization: Identify individual preferences and dimensions of each customer that go into their shopping habits, decision-making, and how completely these data points are stored and can be accessed. Evaluate how well the current eCommerce site accounts for those criteria, and make recommendations for improvement to UX/UI, presentation, data collection, and site functionality in order provide each customer with a personalized experience.

Compensation

• Undergraduate: $24/Hour

• Graduate: $26/Hour
