The MIDN collects information on a wide variety of natural resource "vital signs" through field observations, data management, analysis, and communication. With guidance from network staff, the intern will assist with MIDN geospatial data management and development of outreach products, field data collection and management, and working directly with park based natural resource managers. Opportunities for spatial data delivery through development of AGOL products will be available as well as analytical tasks. Additionally, field work related to monitoring activities during various field seasons will be part of the duties. There can also be opportunities to collaborate across network boundaries on similar projects.
