Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading, and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. Equity Capital Markets (ECM) within CIB has product origination-focused teams who also work closely with other key CIB business units including our Banking Coverage and Sales & Trading teams that are important partners to these businesses. The ECM business is supported by its COO which works directly with its business leaders and various infrastructure support partners across the organization, serving as a trusted advisor in establishing business priorities, partnering with the broader CIB organization, in accordance with the overall Banking strategic agenda. The COO also ensures optimal efficiency of all aspects of the ECM business. This role will play a critical role in the implementation of the overall Banking strategy, and the implementation of a variety of initiatives for ECM.
The ECM COO, Senior AVP, Senior Business Execution Consultant will support the ECM COO with executing business and client priorities, partnering with the broader Wells Fargo organization, and facilitate the running the day-to-day operations of the business. The Senior Business Execution Consultant will collaborate with the ECM COO, the Co-Heads of ECM, the COO of Capital Markets and other capital markets product groups to execute on activities.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Business planning and analyzing performance of clients, investment bankers, and corporate bankers
- Supporting Group Head Executive, COO, and other business leaders in initiative tracking, project execution, and banker scorecards
- Supporting Corporate Investment Bank wide initiatives, projects, and assisting in development of strategic plans
- Ability to manage week-to-week tracking activities utilized to assess business performance
- Project management, data analysis, integrating financials into streamlined executive presentations
- Knowledge or ability to learn key systems including Salesforce, Tableau, & internal financial reporting systems
- Prepare product level reporting and data analysis including analyzing 3rd party data providers like Dealogic for fee competitor benchmarking
- Maintain data integrity and pipeline management within complex company hierarchies
- Leveraging CRM tools and data outputs to interpret and analyze performance by sector and banker
- Research and analyzing client information and data across multiple tools and platforms, including: client profitability systems, Dealogic, internal tracking, company hierarchy management platform, Salesforce.com, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of Capital Markets and Investment Banking, with specific experience to include ECM products
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Self-starter with proven ability to exercise independent judgement
- Strategy, financial, and/or analytics experience
- Strong communication skills in relation to people at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to juggle and execute high volume of competing priorities within strict deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations
- Enthusiasm to take on new and challenging tasks in a dynamic environment
- Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRMs) including Salesforce and market data vendors like Dealogic, Tableau, Bloomberg, Factset, etc
- Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Pay Range
$100,800.00 - $179,200.00
