MUST:
Echocardiography Technician, responsible for the flow of patients and operations of the Echocardiography Lab, to include organizing and performing special tests
An Associate's degree or one to three years formal training in echo cardiology, ultrasonography or a related field is required.
one to three years of progressively more responsible job related experience in ultrasound diagnostic cardiology.
Approximately three to six months to gain familiarity with the Hospital environment, department routines and procedures, and the full range of job duties.
BLS certification
