Job SummaryThe Clinical Coordinator of Cardiac Sonography ensures quality Echocardiology testing on inpatient and outpatients for various adult and geriatric patients.
- Provide general supervision and coordination of staff- to assure that effective services are provided and quality standards are met
Oversees the Merge database and used throughout the hospital as well as use in offsite departments.
Reviews staff, student, and own studies for overall quality –
Maintains all Cardiac Sonography equipment
Assists in developing/updating policies and procedures in conjunction with the Director of Cardiology.
What qualifications you will need:
Must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) RDCS or Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) RCS.
Minimum 3 years experience in performing adult echocardiography
Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent education in echocardiography program.
