Job description:
Responsibilities:
Job requirements Must haves:
1. Pediatric congenital heart echo scanning experience >1 year;
2. Pediatric Registry certified;
3. experience in pediatric TEE;
4. Experience in complex congenital heart patients, including pre/post op complex repair
5. Able to take call and cover weekend call shifts Shift: M-F;
ECHO Department with 4 FT ECHO sonographers. Cardiac surgical program includes highest acuity pediatric and adult congenital heart patients. Department covers inpatient and outpatient ECHO needs. Techs work closely with cardiologists in all areas of the cardiac program.
Requirements:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
    International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• ECHO Department with 4 FT ECHO sonographers. Cardiac surgical program includes highest acuity pediatric and adult congenital heart patients. Department covers inpatient and outpatient ECHO needs. Techs work closely with cardiologists in all areas of cardiac program.
