Job Description
SUMMARY
Prepare food items, adhere to recipes and portion control standards, oversee production of all food items and create stocks, sauces, gravies and soups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
  • Prepares food in multiple venues.
  • Adheres to standards for preparation, reading formulas, portioning, cooking and presentation of all food items.
  • Ensures excellent quality of food and proper presentation.
  • Ensures portion control, adherence to recipes and timeliness of all food products.
  • Upholds cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, kitchen equipment and kitchen tools.
  • Promotes the Big Six; encourages a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean and safe environment.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Lead and/or guide the work of other employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to obtain a food handler's card.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and/or casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. Work requires standing for long periods of time which includes frequent bending and kneeling. Work requires lifting objects up to 50lbs. Work will require working varied shifts including, weekends and holidays, as needed.
