We are currently recruiting for an Early Childhood/Preschool Teacher of Students with Disabilities to work with Students with developmental and related disabilities aged 3-21 years at our Lakeview School.
Job Responsibilities of an Early Childhood/Preschool Teacher of Students with Disabilities include:
- Develop appropriate educational goals and objectives, teaching strategies and methods of assisting these goals for each student in the class
- Plan and implement individual, small and large group instructional activities and promote appropriate socialization and self-help skills.
- Supervise and direct the activities of the teaching assistants and aides in the classroom
Job Requirements:
- BA or BS degree
- NJ DOE certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped
- NJ DOE certification as Elementary School Teacher K-5
