Manages the Roads and Pads Team and directs resources of personnel and equipment to optimize production and value for Milne Point.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manages and reviews daily equipment needs.
- Interfaces with production, drilling, and maintenance operations to drive value to optimize equipment needs.
- Analyzes field production for improvements and manages the implementation of identified improvements.
- Produces monthly field production and cost goals.
- Prepares job authorization for expenditure (AFE) and other required documents for all Roads and Pads equipment and materials.
- Supervises team of equipment operators
- Interfaces with EH&S to coordinate cooperation and adherence to regulations. Manages staff and contract employees to achieve goals within available resources.
- Negotiates equipment and contract employee rates
- Monitors and maintains production and initiates solutions to problems.
- Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs changes as needed.
- Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long range operations studies, reports, and recommendations.

- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Supervises personnel and conducts employee performance evaluations.Assists with hiring and retention of personnel.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years minimum experience in heavy equipment operations.
- Commercial Drivers License. Haz-mat preferred.
- Five years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
- Outstanding management, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
- Preferred: Microsoft Office Suite
Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
