E-Commerce Customer Service/Sales Representative

B&H Industrial is a family-owned, third generation industrial supply company founded in 1976. After several years of rapid growth, we are seeking an additional and exceptional Customer Service/Sales Representative to become a long-term team member. To be successful in this role, you need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, an excellent time manager, and be able to handle high volume calls and emails in a consistently friendly and efficient manner. A reliable and fast internet connection is required for this position.

Main Job Duties:

• Process invoices from suppliers
• Deliver customer invoices
• Receive payments from customers and run credit card transactions
• Enter tracking numbers into ERP and eCommerce websites
• Manage high-volume phone calls from customers and vendors
• Provide verbal and email quotes to customers
• Communicate with vendors to confirm price and availability
• Process orders with vendors and confirm order acknowledgements
• Keep track of backorders and follow up with vendors and customers with ship dates
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payments to vendors
• Keep track of past due invoices

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Proactive work ethic and communication
• High level organizational skills
• Friendly and patient demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with eCommerce software
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, supplies, filtration and/or compressed air equipment a plus

We offer two weeks time off plus all major holidays, one-hour paid lunch, annual raises, and annual bonuses.
