Dynamic-Hybrid Baristas, Bakery, Cafe & Retail Counter Help

Le Marché Bakery & Cafe in beautiful Shelburne village is looking for energetic, personable baristas and servers. We are looking for reliable, hard working applicants, who are able to multitask and follow directions. Experience in basic food Knowledge of sandwiches, salads and coffee, is a plus. Le Marché Bakery offers locally roasted coffee, French Pastries, cakes, desserts, soups, and salads that are all made on premises.

Experience making coffee drinks is a plus but not necessary. As a Front of House staff member you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging environment, and engaging positively with guests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Opening, Midday, and Closing tasks depending on shift.
• Ensure cash handling is accurate using POS System. (Spot On)
• Prepare drinks according to outlined recipes and provide consistent products.
• Properly operate machines including daily cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Take orders accurately and maintain knowledge of offerings.
• Ensure all coffee bar areas are clean; exceed food safety.
• Communicate clearly with other staff members
• Nurture relationships with customers to increase brand loyalty
• Physical requirements include: lifting and carrying 25-40lb, standing for long periods of time, working with hot equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
