Position Type: Full-time, 40+ hours/week (M-F), Occasional after hours and weekend availability required

Position Location: Odenton, MD

Position Summary:

FTC Aggregate Supply is seeking a Dump Truck Supervisor for busy aggregate Dump Truck fleet. Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily trucking operations to ensure correct company policies and safety procedures are being followed and act as liaison between drivers and dispatch/management.

Responsibilities include:

· Assist in hiring, training and monitoring drivers for safety and efficiency

· Review safety and policy violations with management. Enforce disciplinary action and retraining when necessary

· Conduct monthly safety meeting with drivers

· Respond to scene of motor vehicle accident or safety issues. In conjunction with Fleet Supervisor perform thorough and complete accident investigations and report findings to management. Identify corrective action plans to help avoid future accidents

· Monitor drivers through GPS/Dashcam system

· Perform regular safety audits of drivers

· Assist with the implementation of new programs and procedures for the fleet and implement procedures to address any deficiencies

· Assist with issues with tracking/dispatch system on tablets in trucks

· Pre-trip jobsites when necessary and communicate with customers onsite to ensure proper and safe delivery of materials

· Maintain communication with in-house and off-site mechanic shops to manage repairs of fleet vehicles. Assist coordinating emergency repairs/towing

· Work with Fleet Safety Manager monitoring FMCSA BASICs Score. Ensure system data is correct and communicate results to management. Work in conjunction with management to improve results if needed

· Occasionally fill as driver when needed

· Occasionally assist with dispatching duties

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Required experience in CDL Trucking, either driving or supervising

· Preferred Dump Truck driving experience with Current CDL

· Must be dependable

· General knowledge of computers and tablets/hand-held technology

· Team-oriented personality with ability to perform duties independently

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Strong oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Must pass mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing
