Pioneer Truckweld Inc. is seeking a

DUMP BODY INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC

$18/HOUR average offering, negotiable (DOE)

Responsibilities and Duties:

Duties and responsibilities are the installation and repair dump bodies, flat beds, power take off systems, auxiliary lighting systems, toolboxes, and hitches, etc. Must have the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems in a timely manner. Stay on task with little to no supervision to meet production deadlines as needed. Basic fabrication skills such as MIG welding, plasma torch, cutting, grinding, drill, measure and fabricate as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanic in the industry or related experience in other mechanic work. Basic knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems, mobile hydraulic systems (PTO's and pumps). MIG welding skills a plus.  Must be able to follow detailed instructions and be able to work in a team environment and be punctual. Basic hand tools required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is frequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will operate primarily in a workshop setting. The employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. The employee may be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

The employee is expected to be on time, ready to work on a daily basis. Normal business hours are determined by the employee’s manager. Mandatory overtime is sometimes required.
