DSP (Direct Support Professional) / RBT

Two positions available:

M/W/F - 4 hour shifts during day time hours (12 hours)

T/Th - 4 hour shifts during day time hours (8 hours)

Milagre Kids School / South Campus is a small non-profit program in Swarthmore, PA for individuals with Autism. We are data-driven, creative, collaborative and our goal is to allow individuals with Autism to be as independent as possible through real life experiences.

Part time DSP (Direct Support Professional) to:

- Provide enhanced HAB in our adult program serving individuals on the autism spectrum.

- Provide support for client led activities in the home and community. Activities include, but are not limited to, ADL’s, leisure activities (in the home and community}, work/ volunteer positions, errands, and household chores.

- Applicants should be comfortable with being playful, animated, enthusiastic, and engaging.

Responsibilities:

• 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism
• Ability to follow the learner’s motivation to keep clients engaged
• Current clearances (FBI, PA Criminal, and Child Abuse)
• Current physical and TB test
• Ability to make a commitment of at least 2 years
• Must have a valid driver's license and car and be willing to transport students for community-based instruction
• Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, or social work, or RBT or NADDS certification required
• Willing to provide training to be NADDS certified if you do not have the required certification/degree.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
