DSP (Direct Support Professional) in Bucks County & Lehigh Valley

Success Rehabilitation is a residential and day treatment rehabilitation program for adults with traumatic brain injuries (or TBIs).

We are delighted to share that Success Rehabilitation, Inc.,is expanding its residential program into the Lehigh Valley (Bethlehem, PA)! This location is set to open in the middle of January 2024 with our first wave of clients.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) with strong leadership skills to provide direct care to our clients.

The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, skilled in direct care, has integrity and a solution-oriented mindset, and is able to work independently.

You will find meaningful work helping individuals with traumatic and acquired brain injuries and other neurological impairments.

**This position requires comfortability and flexibility with working in BOTH our Quakertown and Bethlehem locations! **

STARTING SALARY $16-$22/HR

Disclaimer: Pay rate will be $16 per hour until successful completion of our Medical Administration course.

Flexible work schedules with requirement of working one weekend shift per week.

Available shifts:

• 7am-3pm
• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am

Primary Job Duties:
At Success, you will help residents achieve a maximum level of independence and quality of life. You will:

• Work to support each resident toward the achievement of active treatment goals
• Assist residents to maintain a safe, comfortable, home-like environment
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including transfers and personal care, as needed
• Transport clients to day program, doctor's appointments, & community outings.

Job Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must have own reliable vehicle.
• Proof of a high school diploma, GED and/or college/university degree from a US educational institution or active status on PA CNA registry.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be punctual and reliable with good attendance.
• Ability to problem solve with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to self-schedule, as needed, to ensure coverage.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Physical requirements – walking, standing, stooping, sitting, kneeling, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., without assistance.
