Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations in a safe and timely manner. This is a full-time position that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Duties:
- Drive company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle as necessary
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and other relevant technology for route planning
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting as required
