SalaryEstablished Union commercial and residential subcontractor is looking to add an experienced estimator to the team. We currently perform metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical, insulation, and paint.

Preferred Estimating Scopes:
- Metal Frame
- Drywall
- Acoustical Ceilings
- Insulation
Tasks:
- Quantity take-offs and bid submission with all required bid documents
- Attend pre-bid job walk meetings
- Negotiate contract pricing and terms
- Create materials and labor estimate takeoffs
- Quantify our scope of work using On-Screen Takeoff software
- Using QuickBid software - prepare estimates, submit bid proposals, and forward budgets to accounting on awarded jobs.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with General Contractors and suppliers. Seek out new General Contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain standard materials price list.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years estimating experience in Drywall & Metal Frame
- Working knowledge of contract documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
