Job Title: DRIVING RANGE ATTENDANT
Department: 21 – OUTSIDE GOLF OPERATIONS
Reports To: ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL
FLSA Status: NON-EXEMPT

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide member service to the outside golf operation, with the specific job responsibilities as follows.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform all duties according to the daily procedures set by the golf operations manual.
2. Responsible for set up and operation of practice facilities.
3. Maintaining supply and cleanliness or practice facility balls.
4. Responsible for proper position of range tee, canopy, and furniture.
5. Responsible for emptying and overall cleanliness of garbage receptacles.
6. Maintain club cleaners which include clean water and towels.
7. Maintenance of Driving Range generator, picker, range cart (i.e. oil change / gas)
8. Responsible for the upkeep of all Driving Range furniture including chairs and bag stands.
9. All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on- one and small group situations to members and co-workers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid Florida or other state driver’s license
