REGIONAL HOME WEEKLY $1,200-$1,650 weekly average
Position Details:
Drivers are paid CPM up to $0.66 based on the experience level of driver and any endorsements.
Drivers on this account can expect to be home for 2 days every 10 days out
- Drivers will have dedicated terminals for pickups of preloaded freight.
- Drivers will deliver freight to customer locations.
- Some loads are time sensitive.
- No loads require a driver to touch freight, these are drop & hook loads.
- 100% Preloaded Pick Ups
- 100% No Touch/ No unloading required by drivers.
- Drivers will average around 2500 miles or more a week.
- More miles more money!
Qualification and Requirements as follows but not limited to:
3 months of experience is required
- Drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
- Drivers must possess a VALID CDL A with VALID DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers must have exceptional driving record.
- We are looking for drivers who have a passion for driving and are self-motivated with positive attitudes.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform safety checks of brakes, steering column, lights and mirrors prior to each leg of journey to ensure road readiness
- Follow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and binders to secure cargo and re-checking their stability throughout trips
- Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary
- Visit weigh stations before and after packing to ensure that loads meet state safety regulations, making alterations to loads when required by law
- Contribute to company data by honestly recording times of delivery and hours worked.
- Determining the details of each delivery.
- Collecting and loading stock in a manner that prevents breakage.
- Ensuring that the truck has sufficient fuel at all times.
- Informing clients and your Manager of potential delays.
- Stopping for frequent rest breaks along the journey.
- Delivering stock to clients on or before each deadline.
- Completing, storing, and submitting all necessary documentation.
- Paying all pertinent tolls as you drive to and from destinations.
- Keeping track of all reasonable expenses and submitting proof thereof to obtain refunds.
- Reporting all vehicle-related issues for urgent attention.
