Job description

Compensation: Up to $12 to $18 per hour DOE (including tips and incentives).

--Drivers starting at $15 per hour. (must be licensed for 2 years with clean driving record)

--Loaders starting at $12 per hour. (no license required)

--Tips range based on performance, upwards of $200+ per week

Marathon Moving Services is looking for dedicated team members to pack, move, transport and assemble customers items, but this job isn't just about the heavy lifting! During moves you'll work face-to-face with customers to ensure their specific needs are met. As a mover or driver, every day is different and every move brings new challenges, but our goal is simple; we are here to help our customers.

What You'll Do
You and your team will...

• Work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings
• Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the home/business
• Load and unload a 26-foot moving truck
• Complete paperwork and payment collection
• Safely operate the truck and perform daily truck inspections and moving equipment inventory checks

What We Look For In A Move Hero
We hire for attitude and train for skill, however experience in general labor positions such as; truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is helpful.

• High school diploma or GED
• 21 years or older for drivers due to insurance restrictions
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Ability to communicate professionally in English verbally and through writing
• Good work ethic and a positive, professional attitude
• Access to reliable and punctual transportation
• Physical stamina to lift / carry 80 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and random drug screens
• Warehousing, construction, painting, general labor, or truck driving experience is useful
