Summary

The Driver Trainer will conduct driver's training orientation and vehicle handling procedures, to include follow-up training, annual revalidations and driver audits, assist with all departmental training needs and ensure trainee's follow all training, driving and road safety policies.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Primary

• Training of all employees and ensuring the employees have a clear understanding of all requirements
• Conduct driver revalidations regarding accidents, yearly annual validations and driver audits to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
• Assess training needs for all driver's trainees and ensures that all employee issues and concerns are communicated with the training supervisor.

Secondary

• Makes impromptu site and yard visits to observe employee's compliance with all driving and road safety policies to ensure all standards are followed.

Tertiary

• Responsible for working in other departments when needed.
