Bausch Health Company (BHC) is seeking an Executive Driver who will be responsible for ensuring the timely, safe and secure transportation of corporate executives to and from their residence, place of employment, local airports, meeting locations in NYC and surrounding areas. This role will require night and weekend work (as needed) in addition to driving responsibilities during the work week. Position requires prior executive driving experience, a high level of professionalism (executive presence and demeanor), defensive driving skills, and excellent situational awareness. Extreme punctuality and organization skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and on time transportation of executive(s) to and from residence, place of work, local airports, meeting locations in NYC and surrounding areas.
- The company will supply a vehicle to be used by the executive driver. Vehicle must be kept clean and mechanically sound by driver.
- Candidates must have experience driving executives. Defensive driving skills and course completion is a plus.
- Conduct thorough advance planning to include route planning, awareness of traffic and emergency response procedures.
- Plan and analyze routes to minimize exposure to potential risks, traffic, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of alternate routes and traffic conditions.
- Maintain effective communication with the client and team members to ensure smooth operations and coordination.
- Safely operate and maintain vehicles used for client transportation, ensuring they are secure and in good working condition.
- Keep the vehicle stocked with essential items, such as first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and emergency tools.
- Ability to build and maintain appropriate and effective working relationships with client and ensure their comfort and trust.
Work Experience - Prior experience in executive driving is required (5 years). Clean driver’s license and clear criminal background check is required. Both driving history and criminal history will be checked in advance of any hiring decisions.
Suggested previous experience and certifications:
- Driver training and certifications (defensive driving skills)
- First Aid, CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discretion and the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with people.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under high-stress situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

- Time management and organizational skills to keep track of schedule and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
