Overview Commute with Enterprise is a division of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. We rent vehicles through companies to their individual employees for commuting to and from work. We currently have a Part-Time Driver position open on our team in San Leandro. We are looking for customer service oriented individuals to move vehicles within our market because this position has a high level of customer interaction. The Driver delivers vehicles to our customers and completes paperwork with them at the time of delivery. They are also responsible for transporting our employees and vehicles safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service. Since this position interacts with our customers and fellow employees on a regular basis, it requires someone with a team-centered and customer-first attitude! The hourly rate of pay for this position is $16 / hour. Responsibilities The Part Time Driver is responsible for the transporting of fleet cars and vans to and from various locations, as well as navigating written directions, and performing administrative duties.Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the roadDeliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous mannerRide with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehiclesOrganize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timelyMay need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phoneMay be asked to clean vehiclesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedData entry as needed (enter customer applications and forms, update routes and rosters in operating system.Filling and administrative organization as needed.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureThis position requires a valid drivers license*DOT Requirements: Commute employees are subject to DOT pre-employment drug testing as well as random drug and alcohol testing as regulated by the Federal Transit Authority.
