Driving Responsibilities:
- Attention To Detail
- To follow traffic laws and practice safe driving habits.
- Keeping your truck & trailer clean and up to date on maintenance.
- Filling out a weekly vehicle inspection.
- Filling out a weekly trailer inspection.
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
- Transport packages, pallets, and/or materials to and from destinations.
- Arrive at destinations on schedule and in a timely manner.
- Fulfill administrative needs
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route. Any deviations of an expected route you need to call your supervisor and let them know.
- Always interact with clients/co-workers professionally.
- Makes sure their load is secure for transportation.
- Ensures straps and other securing devices are in safe and working conditions.
- Minimize your down time and be conscious of your chit chatting.
- Receive direction from Supervisor and/or Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Keeping warehouse/yard clean and organized.
- Empty trash cans
- Sweep/blow out dirt and leaves
- Pick up tools, materials, brooms, and mops in proper places
- Pick up trash outside
- Take direction from our shipping and receiving clerk when not on the road driving.
- Keeping our trailers, trucks, and tools in working conditions.
- Clean tools, trucks, and trailers
- Take items out of service and let someone know when necessary.
- Doing daily inspections on equipment ex. Overhead cranes & Forklifts
- Loading/Unloading tools and documenting on our tool list.
- Keeping tool list up to date
- Verifying all tools are in working condition when loading out tools and when they return.
- Verify all items that are required for the tool to function are included with the tool
- Securing tools in trailer, so they aren't rolling around while driving.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
Dress Code:
- Steel Toe Shoes
- Blue Jeans or Work pants
- Occasionally will have to wear FRC Coverall when delivering to jobsite (Provided)
Qualifications:
- 1+ yrs of experience pulling a gooseneck trailer.
- Available to work on call as needed
- Valid Driver's License - Class E License
- Clean driving record
- 1+ year Forklift and Manlift experience
- TWIC Card
- Core Compliance Training Annual - Onshore, H2S, SafeLand USA, Defensive Driving, Forklift, Manlift required.
