Position Summary
Driver Assistant is required to safely transport Executive in company vehicle to/from destinations and performs highly confidential administrative and operational duties to assist the Executive team with various personal and some corporate functions.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
• Transport Executive (or any other person as directed by Executive) to and from desired locations (i.e. work, appointments, personal engagements, etc.) in company vehicle in a timely manner
• Handle personal matters and errands of Executive as needed (i.e. making reservations, placing orders, purchasing meals, pick up personal effects/needs, transport family members, etc.)
• Handle business related matters and errands (i.e. deposit checks, filing, answer phone calls, follow up regarding business matters, etc.) of Executive as needed, in timely and efficient manner
• Demonstrate high levels of professionalism when communicating in person, by email, or by phone to anyone.
• Use tact, discretion and independent good judgement and decision making in all employment tasks and handling of sensitive and confidential information.
• Prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high attention to detail.
• Must be able to drive in a safe manner and comply with all state and local motor vehicle laws and observe all speed limits.
• Perform daily/weekly safety inspections before driving the vehicle.
• Maintain the vehicle in a safe manner i.e., ensure license tags are current, proof of insurance coverage and policy is up to date.
• Immediately report safety issues, required maintenance and defects, accidents and violations/citations
• Must drive free from distractions, no use of handheld mobile devices/cell phones. Any use of mobile devices/cell phones must be used with hands-free equipment/technology
• Assist with office administrative tasks while reporting to each office location that will be delegated/requested by the Office Manager, Receptionists and Human Resources
• All other duties (business or personal) as may from time to time be reasonably assigned by the Executive.
• Must have the ability to drive long hours and distances and travel regularly.
Minimum Qualifications
• Previous experience in Driving, Personal Assistant role, minimum 3+ years preferred
• Must have valid Driver’s License and clean driving history
• Strong sense of propriety and discretion
• Must be flexible to work with the President/CEO schedule any day, including weekends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Must be thorough and detailed oriented, and can maintain composure under pressure
• Must have the ability to drive long hours and distances and travel regularly.
