JOB SUMMARY
The Production Manager oversees the production process and ensures that the team is meeting deadlines consistently within the provided time budgets, and effectively communicating with clients. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Planning, assignment, and organizing of the production schedule
- Utilize reporting functions in the operating software to aid with management decisions.
- Assess project and resource requirements and allocations including recommendation of additional hours, when needed
- Supervise the work of Client Managers and Technical Drafting Staff
- Ensure Client Managers are following up on correspondence
- Delegate duties to Client Managers and follow up as required
- Provide motivation, support, and guidance to the team
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to the Chief Operating Officer
- Support the sales department in regards to production capacity
- Assist with the review and approval of time submittals on a daily basis
- Review CAD & REVIT (BIM) to ensure quality of work and job performance of the drafting team, with the assistance of the training drafting team.
- Work with senior management to identify training needs, implementation of company standards, and training programs.
- Coordinate with other managers and team members to promote departmental cohesion and conflict resolution
- Continually seek opportunities to maximize efficiencies, improve processes, and stay up to date on industry tools and software.
- Assist with performance reviews for Client Managers and technical drafting staff, including recommendations for promotions and additional responsibilities
- Attend meetings when Client Manager is unavailable
- Minimal drafting, mainly master creation, and oversight of implementing drafting standards and libraries.
- Coordinate field/plan issues between departments in order to determine a resolution
- Participate as member of Senior Leadership Team
- Manage Budget for Production Department
- Participate in Profit & Loss meeting
Reporting:
- Daily Production Schedule
- Weekly performance snapshot
- Monthly Statistics
- Weekly Revenue Projections
- Contribute to monthly ESR for assigned sections
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associates of Science (A.S.) degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction‐related field or equivalent experience in a professional environment drafting residential construction documents in AutoCAD and REVIT.
- 5 plus years of experience in project management required.
- 3 years of experience in production or studio management required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
