Position Purpose:

The AXion Flatbed Delivery Driver’s primary objective is to operate the company’s flatbed truck to make routine deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

AXion Material Flatbed Driver will:

• Obtain PODs from suppliers.
• Conduct inspection before operating vehicles/forklifts.
• Identify and report operational issues.
• Load/Unload trucks.
• Small flatbed truck driver, on demand/hotshot pickups and deliveries in the Luling, Hahnville and broader central Louisiana area.
• Work reporting location is Luling, LA.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Must have experience using commercial cargo straps, tarps and other load securement devices. j
• Applicant must have a LA Class D license or better (no Class E)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience driving a 10' small flatbed truck
• Experience driving within a refinery.
• Ability to deliver results and meet aggressive timelines.
• History of operating a 5k-8k forklift.
• Effective interpersonal and team building skills.
• Strong problem-solving and implementation planning skills.
