We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse associate must be organized, dedicated, hard-working, accurately, and safely receiving and storing supplies. Must be computer literate to be able to keep an accurate inventory as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup, delivery and/or assist customer at the counter. Candidate will have the opportunity for growth in salary and responsibilities based on performance.
Must be fluent in English (speak, write, read, and comprehend), Spanish speaking a plus.
We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing as well as periodic spot testing as required by our Insurance Company.

Full Job Description
Essential Functions:
Ø Loads and unloads cartons/merchandise to and from delivery vehicles, etc.
Ø Checking in delivers from our suppliers in our inventory system
Ø Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages on a continuous and repetitive basis
Ø Stock and maintain merchandise on shelves in the proper place
Ø Processing must be completed in a timely manner to maintain established department and location standards
Ø Picking orders according to job/customer
Ø Keeping inventory counts accurate in our inventory system
Ø Adheres to company policies and procedures; follows department training guidelines, best practices, and operating procedures
Ø Always keeps warehouse area clean and orderly
Ø Works well with fellow Associates, Supervisors and Managers
Ø Follows all Location Safety and Security Guidelines
Ø Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Ø Previous experience in warehouse work required
Ø Must be comfortable and able to use powered and non-powered tools
Ø Computer literate
Ø Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ø Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
Ø Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
Communication Skills:
Ø Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ø Ability to read, write and understand verbal instructions
Ø Strong customer service skills
Mathematical Skills:
Ø Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Reasoning Ability:
Ø Must be able to follow instructions, work independently and or within a team environment
Physical Demands:
Ø This position involves regular walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, hearing, and talking.
Ø Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Compensation:
Ø Salary based on experience
Work Hours:
Ø Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
