Siesta Key Dog is hiring dog walkers and pet sitters for the Sarasota, Siesta Key area. This is a very rewarding and important job and we hope to find someone who will love it as much as we do! It is a great opportunity for animal and nature lovers that enjoy the outdoors and love dogs and cats too! The ideal candidate is a pet lover that is punctual, with a reliable auto, a clean background check and enjoys being active.

Dog Walkers are paid for each walk or each pet sit visit starting at $14 per walk and Up. We are in need of a full time dog Walker/pet sitter, including some weekdays and some weekends. Looking for someone who can start part time right away and build up to a full time schedule by March.

Must:

• LOVE Dogs and Cats
• Have a reliable automobile
• Be reliable and punctual
• Have a clean background
• Have experience with dogs and walking dogs
• Love to be outside walking in the beautiful Florida heat

``Duties```
- Walk dogs on a regular schedule, rain or shine
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
- Follow specific instructions for each dog's care, including any dietary restrictions or medical needs
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Report any unusual behavior or health concerns to the owner or supervisor
- Maintain open communication with clients regarding their pets

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience working with dogs, such as dog training, dog handling, or pet grooming
- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for dog walking assignments

Note: Experience in veterinary technician, equine, animal restraint, kennel, or veterinary assistant roles is a plus.
