Responsibilities:

As a dog walker or pet sitter at Wiggle Your Tail Pet Care, your responsibilities include:

• Providing daily exercise and outdoor time for dogs through engaging walks and playtime.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals in your care at all times.
• Following detailed care instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and special requests.
• Building strong bonds with pets through quality time, attention, and affection.
• Communicating regularly with pet owners to provide updates on their pets' well-being and behavior.
• Monitoring pets for any signs of illness or injury and alerting pet owners or the company's management team if necessary.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in pet owners' homes during pet-sitting assignments.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures related to pet care and customer service.
• Keeping accurate records of your daily activities and any notable observations about the pets in your care.
• Representing Wiggle Your Tail Pet Care with professionalism, compassion, and a genuine love for animals at all times.

Qualifications:

- Reside within the service area.

- Own a reliable, dog-safe vehicle with valid insurance and driver's license.

- Possess a smartphone capable of multitasking (photo/video/GPS).

- Available for consistent year-round shifts.

- A profound love for animals; prior experience welcomed but not required.

- Comfortable caring for various species, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and more.

- Pass a background check.

- Able to maintain a brisk walking pace and handle physical demands (squatting, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds).

- Excellent balance and coordination for handling dogs on leash.
