Dog Trainer And Retail Associate

Zoom Room, the area's premier indoor dog training facility, is seeking passionate dog lovers to become an integral part our team! You will be responsible for training, as well as selling merchandise and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

We use positive reinforcement training only and offer group and private classes in obedience, agility, puppy training, as well as enrichment classes and workshops. Our motto is: "We don't train dogs. We train the people who love them." So when we look for new trainers, we're really focused on those with excellent people skills - great, articulate communicators. We also prefer applicants who deeply care about making a difference in the community as the majority of our clients have newly rescued dogs from shelters.

In addition to teaching dog training classes, our trainers are also expected to work customer service shifts.

General Duties Include:

• Answering the phone
• Responding to emails and inquiries
• Scheduling classes and lessons
• Teaching obedience and agility classes
• Stocking inventory and checking in new product shipment
• Making doggy donuts

Job Requirements include:

• Leading group and private dog training classes

Hours and Compensation:

• Store hours are Mon-Fri 11am-8pm and Sat-Sun 9am-6pm. Weekends are required.
• Pay is based on experience, pay increases attainable when certain targets are met. Bonuses start day one.

Pay: $16.50 - $23.50 per hour
