At Poochie's, you are called a "Dog Master." We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate person who MUST MUST love dogs to join our team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to the animals in our facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Provide daily care for pups, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize the facility
- Monitor the health and well-being of the pups and report any concerns
- Monitor dogs body language during play groups
- Any additional tasks as needed for the business
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior is a plus
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), and being on your feet for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
